This policy covers the processing of personal data by Code for All (CfAll) (“we” or “us” or “our”), powered by Fundacja Moje Państwo, whose registered address is at ul. Nowogrodzka 25 lok. 37 00-511 Warszawa, Poland.
CfAll respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”) and is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information in our efforts to amplify the impact of good ideas through our global network and the dissemination of information relevant to our work. Likewise, our aim is to provide the best user experience possible through our digital platforms.
We want our websites to be enjoyable and secure for everyone. CfAll, like any other institution that stores or processes personal information about international citizens, has a legal duty to protect any personal information and use it in a transparent manner. For this reason, and taking into account our audience, we adhere to what is established in the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (‘GDPR’).

INFO WE MAY COLLECT AND HOW YOUR INFO MAY BE USED
We may collect and process the following information about you:
|Derivative data||The information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.|
|Slack||When you register to our Slack, the platform requires your name and email.|
These will be used for communication purposes related to the network. This data is administered through a third party: Slack.
|Marketing Communications||When you sign up to our mailing list, we require your name, email and ask for your organisation.|
These will be used for mailing campaigns purposes related to our work or that of others where we have an affiliation or partnership. This data is administered through a third party: Active Campaign.
|Analytics||When you navigate through our website, Google Analytics, WordPress Stats and Facebook Ads conversion tracking (Facebook pixel)|

|Posting a comment on the website||When you post comments, contributions or other content to the Site, your posts may be viewed by all users. When posting a comment on the website we collect name, email and IP in order to track comments and to help spam detection.|
|Attending an event||When you register for any of our events, we ask for specific personal data: name, surname, organization, country and email.|
This is in order to keep a record for our events and be able to send the information and details for joining the virtual meeting when online or for the specific place when held in person.
This data is collected through a third party: Eventbrite and Active Campaign.
|Application to become a member||When you apply to become a member of CfAll, we require your full name, email and city/country. You may also voluntarily provide other personal information to us in response to the questions asked. This data is collected with your explicit consent. This information is used to process your application and communicates with you through the application process.|
|Becoming a member||When you become a member, you sign a commitment form, where you provide your name and signature.|
We also ask you to provide specific personal data: name, surname, phone number(s), email(s), social media handles, city and country of residence. This data is collected with your explicit consent.
This information is collected in order to administer membership, facilitate communication between members, coordinate our work and keep you updated on developments and events that might be of interest.
|Adhoc interactions||We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our website and if you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.|
The personal data we collect when you make an online donation includes: Your name, address, email address, the domain from which you access the Internet, IP address, the operating system on your computer and information about the browser you used when visiting the site, date and time when you submit the form, address of the page on our website or Donorbox, our online fundraising software.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt into saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

CfAll uses the following third parties and services to use and store your data:
- Active Campaign
- Google Analytics
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and Youtube)
- Spam detector
Any transmission is always then completed at your own risk. Information we receive, we will process using strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. Access to information is tightly controlled and only provided to specific members or teams where there is a legitimate interest and need.
HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR INFO FOR
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary to operate the services we provide to you in accordance with legal requirements. Where your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of in a secure manner.
You as a user have the right to be informed about the information we have about you. CfAll also acknowledges your right to be forgotten or, in other words, your right that any person would have to remove any information stored in any of our systems or partner services.
More specifically, you have the right to request:
- Access to the personal data we hold about you.
- The correction of your personal data when incorrect, out of date or incomplete.
- The erasure of your personal data.
- That we stop any consent-based processing of your personal data after you withdraw that consent.
- The right to request a transfer of your data to another service provider.
To exercise any of these rights, you need to contact us via email, clearly setting out your request. We will adhere to the GDPR timescales which are 1 month as the maximum to completely finalise the process. CfAll does not charge any fee for processing any requests of this nature. Please note, we may ask you for further proof of your identity before sharing any personal data that we hold.
