In this Good Governance Community of Practice session, we will explore how songwriting enables and effectively guides an individual to create change and advocate for social change in society.

→ About this event:

We’ll be hosting a Good Governance Community of Practice reunion, we have invited Caleb Yang Hann Chih from Tata Consultancy Services. This talk aims to empower and help other passionate advocates of democracy and equal rights of the public to use songwriting to build crowdfunding campaigns to keep the governments of the different countries accountable. This session aims to educate and guide one in knowing how to use crowdfunding in programming applications as well as using art forms like songs to succeed.

This songwriting crowd funding master course enables and effectively guides an individual who wants to use songwriting crowdfunding to make a change and advocate for social change in society. This is to effectively empower and guide the different individuals to become effective seeds of change in society.

What are the Communities of Practice?

If you are new to the Communities of Practice (CoPs) concept, here’s a quick-to-the-point summary:

CoPs are about bringing network members, and organizations beyond the network, together to form groups and discuss common topics relevant to the civic tech ecosystem. This is an opportunity for network members to connect with not only each other, but with other organizations working on similar topics, such as practitioners, grassroots organizations, government champions, and academics that provide expertise to civic tech projects. Read more about the CoPs here.

The topics that are currently being focused on in our CoPs include:

  • Digital Citizen Engagement
  • Good Governance
  • Disinformation

If you haven’t already, fill in the form and join our Slack channel! We will be excited to keep up the conversation at our #disinformation#citizen-engagement, and #good-governance channel to keep up to date with the CoPs!
